I am Adeleye Abiodun ADEOMI, a 38-year-old male Medical Doctor from Nigeria. I am married, with two children and I reside in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. I had my primary school education at Federal Government College Staff School, Ogbomoso, Oyo State and my secondary school education in Suleja Academy, Suleja, Niger State, Nigeria. I obtained MB; BS degree (2005) from the College of Health Sciences, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria and also the MPH degree (2015) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. I am a fellow of both West African College of Physicians; Community Health (2013) and Nigeria postgraduate medical college of Nigeria; Public Health (2013).
My previous employment was at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital from 2013 to 2016, as a Public Health Consultant. In November 2016, I started work at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria as a Lecturer/Researcher in the Department of Community Health and the coordinator of the Public Health Nutrition Unit. I am also an honorary consultant to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, where I am the consultant in charge of the Nutrition Clinic. I have over 10 articles published in peer-reviewed journals. I have been involved as a consultant and/or facilitator for various public health-related projects by reputable non-governmental organizations and also the Federal Ministry of Health in my country (Nigeria).
I am proficient in the use of computers generally and especially with Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint for presentations. I am also proficient in the use of the IBM SPSS and Mendeley. I am a member of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria (APHPN), Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), West African College of Physicians (WACP) and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN). I love playing and watching football, listening to music, meeting new people and teaching.
