Institutionalization of CARTA

HomeOverviewInstitutionalization of CARTA

CARTA strengthens the human resources and university-wide systems resources critical to the success and sustainability of its programs at affiliated universities through workshops for librarians, graduate program coordinators (including deans), bursars, and registrars.

Other workshops promote the capacity of university academic and research faculty to train, supervise, and mentor graduate students, win research grants, conduct high-quality research, and manage collaborative research projects. Such workshops ensure that supervisors and mentors understand and are committed to the goals of CARTA, and benefit from learning and sharing best practices in doctoral supervision and mentoring.

CARTA also supports infrastructure for information, communication, computing, physical facilities for hosting graduate seminars, and supplementary electric power when necessary.
