Omobolanle is a lecturer in the Department of Nursing Science Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria and a cohort 6 CARTA fellow. She teaches foundation of professional nursing, community health nursing and nutrition in health and illnesses. Her work also includes research, clinical teaching and supervision.
Her research interest is in sexual and reproductive health and information technology in nursing education and healthcare services. She had a clinical experience in Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex prior to becoming a lecturer.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing science and Master of Science degree in community health nursing from the same university where she currently works. She is also a registered midwife and a registered public health nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Omobolanle is passionate about empowering women with education and information needed to make informed decisions about their reproductive health. Her extracurricular pursuit includes counseling, singing and housekeeping.
