Felishana is a Graduate Assistant and CARTA fellow in the School of Business and Economics, Department of Management Science, Moi University Kenya. She holds an MBA, Strategic Management, Bachelor of Business Management and has completed an MSc. International Health Research Ethics in the School of Medicine, Moi University, pending graduation. Besides, Ms. Cherop has undertaken short courses in international health research ethics, research & scientific writing skills workshop for MSc. Students and exciting international practicum experience. Ms. Cherop is currently involved in the teaching of academic programs as assigned and allocated by the Head of Department. A wide range of tasks includes setting and administering continuous assessment tests, marking the end of semester examinations and submitting the marks. Part of her duty is to conduct research in the department, active participation in departmental activities, meetings and administrative duties such as coordinating a sub-committee within the faculty. Previously, she was involved in the administration of health research projects that enriched her knowledge and skills in management and research conduct. Felishana is a member of Bioethics Society of Kenya, Kenya Institute of Management and a board member of a secondary school. She is passionate about community engagement and integrating business and public health models to address public health and population related challenges through her Ph.D. career, particularly, contributing to curriculum implementation and review in her institution to meet the current needs and/or challenges that will go a long way in improving health living of people in the community. Her future aspirations are to disseminate knowledge to students and communities using appropriate approaches, teaching and supervision of students at a higher level and share knowledge with colleagues and entire research community through publications.
