Area of Research: The ecological aspects of the Yellow fever and Dengue fever vector (Aedes aegypti mosquitoes)
My names are Anitha Philbert. I joined Mkwawa University College of Education, which is the constituent college of the University of Dar es Salaam in 2007 as a Lecturer in the Department of Life Sciences. I am involved in the training of Undergraduate students studying biology with the bias in zoological courses. My research interests are on vector biology of Infectious diseases. My Masters study focused on the ecological aspects of the Yellow fever and Dengue fever vector (Aedes aegypti mosquitoes). Currently,I am a doctoral student at the University of Dar es Salaam and my study will focus on Insecticide resistance in malaria vectors.
