Jean de Dieu is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, School of Public Health. He holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Environmental Health Sciences from Kigali Health Institute, and an advanced diploma in Environmental Health Sciences. He is currently assessing the prevalence of aflatoxin from breast milk and its effects on children’s nutrients absorption and nutrition status below six months old in Rwanda. Previously, he worked as an Environmental Health Officer in charge of Hygiene and Community Health in Rulindo Health Center and in charge of Hygiene and Health inspection in the Gasabo District. Jean de Dieu is passionate about teaching and research to expand his knowledge to help improve research at his University, country, region, and even beyond.
