Early Career Research Fellowship at the University of Pretoria

The Future Africa Institute at the University of Pretoria is excited to announce a new Early Career Research Fellowship.

The fellowship will support the development of young research leaders who can drive transdisciplinary research programs focused on the African Bioeconomy. The fellowship has unique elements that focus on both technical research and leadership skills development.

The topic is linked to several aspects of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the AU Agenda 2063 goals. We would welcome research proposals exploring all aspects linked to the development of a Bioeconomy – from the technical and non-technical use and management of biological resources for food, health and development, to the politics, economics or human and social science perspectives on it.
