Mrs. NISHIMWE AURORE, is an assistant lecturer in the department of Anaesthesia, school of health sciences, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Rwanda. She holds a Master of science in Health Informatics, a bachelor’s degree in population studies and an advanced diploma in Anaesthesia. she is involved in various undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research supervision and community attachment. Mrs. Aurore delivers courses in undergraduate programs and assist in teaching in Master’s of health informatics, In addition, according to her professional affiliation, Mrs. Aurore NISHIMWE serves as the coordinator of the bridging program, the Research focal person, the head of the examination and appeal committee and the vice – Chairperson of e – learning, web design and consultancy at departmental level. In the same line, Mrs. Aurore also serves as a member of the quality assurance committee at departmental level and currently, she is member of several international bodies, namely, member of international society for telemedicine and e-health (ISfTeH), member of Brazilian Telemedicine and Telehealth Congress, member of Rwandan Association of Anesthetists, member of Rwanda Allied Health Professions Council (RAHPC) and member of East Africa Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN). Nishimwe Aurore’ areas of research interests include Telemedicine and eHealth, Health informatics, Tele- Anaesthesia, quality assurance in education and more especially public health.
