Beryl currently works as a Program Manager for a population health program under Moi University/AMPATH, College of health sciences. She has a degree in Environmental health and a Masters of Business Administration. She has previously worked with a medical research foundation in Kenya where she was involved in Trachoma prevention efforts in Northern Kenya and also participated in regional HIV sero-behavioral studies among fishing communities and institutions of higher learning in the East African Region. She has also worked with the Ministry of Health as a public health officer at a district hospital in rural Kenya where she was responsible for a school health program while teaching Environmental Health and Research at a medical training college. Her diverse work exposures have enabled her gain skills in project management, health communication, training and administration. Her research interests are around Universal health coverage and particularly health financing where health insurance is concerned.
