Area of Research: Perceived benefits and risks associated with fish consumption in Lake Albert: Implications for Mercury and Lead uptake in fishing community
Andrew is a university educator who transforms students’ lives using education, research and community practices. He is a newly accomplished PhD from Makerere University with a passion of solving complex problems using the One Health approach. His research interests are public health, environmental health and risk analysis. The team that worked on this project is focused on the use of scientific methods to provide solutions to vulnerable communities i.e. fishing communities. With this approach, there is hope of making Africa and the world at large a better place.
