Area of Research: The ecological aspects of the Yellow fever and Dengue fever vector (Aedes aegypti mosquitoes)
Anitha joined Mkwawa University College of Education, the constituent college of the University of Dar es Salaam in 2007 as a Lecturer in the Department of Life Sciences. She is involved in the training of Undergraduate students studying biology with the bias in zoological courses. Her research interests are on vector biology of Infectious diseases, and her Masters’ study focused on the ecological aspects of the Yellow fever and Dengue fever vector (Aedes aegypti mosquitoes). She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Dar es Salaam, and her study will focus on Insecticide resistance in malaria vectors.
