Caroline graduated with a BED (Arts) (English Literature) from Egerton University, Kenya, and has an MA (African Literature (Wits) and PhD (Literature) from Moi University. She is a lecturer in the Department of Literature, Theatre and Film Studies Moi University, Kenya. Her research interest is in health communication and popular culture with a specific interest in how television and radio as mediums of communication mediate a range of health concerns including matters of gender and sexuality.
