Evangeline is a medical specialist with an undergraduate Medical degree from Moi University, Keny, an MMED qualification in Internal Medicine from the University of Nairobi, and a postgraduate certificate in Oncology from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel. She is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Medicine, College of Medicine of Moi University. She is involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and supervises postgraduate students as they develop research proposals and carry out research for their thesis that is a requirement for the attainment of the postgraduate degree. She does clinical work in medical and cancer units at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret as well as research both in Internal Medicine and Oncology. In Oncology she is involved in the Aids Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) on Kaposi Sarcoma. She is also involved in Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) trial under Aids Malignancy Consortium (AMC) trial group. She is a member of the Kenya Medical Association (KMA), Kenya Association of Physicians (KAP), Kenya Medical Women’s Association (KEMWA), and American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO). She has published several articles with colleagues.
