Area of Research: Determinants of Male involvement in Sexual and Reproductive Health Services in Kenya.
Hellen is currently a lecturer in the School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Moi University, Kenya. She holds a Master of Public Health (Health Services Management) from the school of Public Health, Moi University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health, College of Health Sciences, Moi University. She has over three years of experience teaching, tutoring, supervising, assessing, and mentoring students. Also, she coordinates the department’s examinations, timetable, and teaching programs. She also has over 10 years’ wealth of experience in administering and managing clinical and research programs at the Health facility and community level. She also worked as a program coordinator Hematology and Oncology program at the Academic Model Providing Access to Health care (AMPATH). During her tenure, she coordinated the standardization and operationalization of clinical and research activities, putting up reporting templates, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Before she was appointed a full-time faculty member at the School of Public Health, she taught as a part-time lecturer at the Department of Management and Health policy
Hellen is currently pursuing a PhD at the School of Medicine, Moi University, Department of Medical Education.
