Margaret is a Registered Nurse, Midwife, and a Public Health Nurse in Nigeria. She holds a degree in Nursing (BNSc) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Maternal and Child Health Nursing from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She worked as a staff Nurse/Midwife for thirteen years before joining the University of Ibadan, where she worked as a midwifery clinical instructor for three years before joining the academics. Margaret is currently a lecturer and a researcher at the Department of Nursing, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She is a passionate midwife whose interest is to see the maternal and neonatal mortality rate in developing countries, especially in Nigeria, decline to the rate obtainable in developed countries. Therefore, she focuses more on interdisciplinary research on pregnancy and childbirth. She is also currently a doctoral student in the Department of Nursing, University of Ibadan, with her research focusing on birth preparedness and complication readiness.
