Area of Research: Assessment of Pre and Post-natal Atrazine Exposure to Male Babies Aged 0-24 Months Born of Mothers Living in Uasin Gishu County, Western Kenya
Providence holds a Master of Public Health and is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Health at the University of Eldoret. She currently works as a lecturer at the College of Health Sciences, School of Public Health, Department of Environmental Health, a position she has held for the last 5 years. She also doubles up as the postgraduate Coordinator for Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Science in Field Epidemiology programs (FELTP) based at Moi University Nairobi campus, a position she has held for the last two years. Before joining the University, she worked as a Public Health Officer for 9 years at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital. She also liaises with the Head of departments, Graduate School chair, and Dean in facilitating the appointment of student’s supervisors. Other administrative roles are budgeting, budget implementation, and managing partnerships.
