Biography
Catherine is currently the manager of the Social Behavioral Team (SBT) Department at AMPATHPlus Program. She draws on a variety of qualitative methods to conduct HIV implementation research with foci on barriers and facilitators to HIV testing, Linkage, Adherence and Retention in care. Her work has contributed to evidence based interventions to promote positive health seeking behaviors among people living with HIV. Catherine holds a Master’s degree in Communication & Journalism from Moi University and is also a part-time lecturer at the same institution. Her research interests focus on innovative approaches to promote adherence and retention among adolescents living with HIV.
