My name is Fred Maniragaba. I am a trained Population scientist. I hold MSc. in Population Studies from Makerere University and BSc. in Population Studies from the same university. I am currently a CARTA (Consortium for Advanced Research and Training in Africa) fellow pursuing PhD in Population Studies at the Department of Population Studies, School of Statistics and Planning, COBAMS, Makerere University where I work as an Assistant Lecturer. I have more than seven years of teaching experience and research. My research interest is in the area of quality of life of older persons as well as gender and decision making in healthcare issues.
