Biography:

I am an Assistant Librarian at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I have been working in the library for over 6 years. Before joining the University of Dar es Salaam, I worked as an Assistant Librarian at the Teofilo Kisanji University in Mbeya, Tanzania from 2008 to 2010. I have a Master degree in Information Studies from the University of Dar es Salaam in 2012. I have also attended short courses on research methodologies and teaching methodologies. I have experience in teaching Information Literacy, Collection Management and Development, and Cataloguing and Classification. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Dar es Salaam. My research topic is “Maternal health information seeking behavior among women in rural Tanzania”.
