Adejumo Mumuni is a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, Faculty of Public Health, University of Ibadan. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH, Environmental Health) degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and Bachelor of Technology degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. He has a wide range of exposure in various aspects of Public Health such as Principles of Environmental Health and Epidemiology; Environmental Epidemiology; Principles of sanitation and hygiene and Research Methodology among others. His areas of research and interest are water and wastewater management, vector control, hygiene and sanitation promotion and environmental statistics. He is a member of several local and international professional organizations. He has published several of his research in various local and international journals. Mumuni believes that generating wealth from waste (liquid and solid) is a major solution to reduce environmental pollution, and improve health of the populations. Valuable resource recovery for him could be achieved through application of appropriate technology. He loves traveling and playing soccer.
