I started my academic career in the Department of Demography and Social Statistics, Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. I obtained my PhD in the same field in 2013. I had my postdoctoral training at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick, United Kingdom between 2015 and 2016. My research interest is Child Health and I have published articles in reputable journals in this area. One of such articles titled “Incomplete Childhood Immunization in Nigeria: A Multilevel Analysis of Individual and Contextual Factors” featured in BMC Public Health. Findings from this journal article were quoted by BBC News. I have had the opportunity of receiving training on analytical and research skills, particularly during my postdoctoral training, in prestigious institutions around the world which include Brown University, United States, University of Cambridge, University College London, University of Brstol and Imperial College, United Kingdom. My post PhD aspiration is to Utilize the skills I acquired during my doctoral and postdoctoral training to improve my research.
