Promoting and ensuring the visibility of the CARTA Program

Mainstreaming CARTA interventions in the institutions

Providing doctoral training and research capacity-building opportunities to CARTA fellows

Identifying and facilitating CARTA fellows’ academic excellence and career development;

Offering supervisors for PhD fellows, and providing advisors and mentors for the fellows

Granting tuition waivers to staff members enrolled for doctoral degree programs in the respective institutions

Providing opportunities for exchange, placements, and training at PhD, post-doctoral and senior faculty levels

Providing expertise to support CARTA research capacity strengthening activities, including facilitation of sessions, curriculum/module development, grant proposal development, and participation in CARTA ad hoc scientific advisory groups
