Gerald provides communications support to the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA) program by driving strategic communication initiatives, managing content creation, stakeholder engagement, media outreach, and digital platforms to enhance the program’s visibility and impact. He holds a degree in Mass Communications from Kampala University in Uganda, and is a member of the Media Council of Kenya. His immediate previous role was Communications and Advocacy at Transparency International Kenya, where he led the development and implementation of communications strategies, managed multi-stakeholder advocacy campaigns, coordinated research-driven policy dialogues, and content development. Gerald is driven by a passion for using communication to connect people, share ideas, and create positive change, leaving the world better than he found it.
