Biography
Amina is a Lecturer at the Somali National University and the Deputy Director of the National Referral Hospital for Mother and Child Health (Banadir Hospital).
She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Master’s degree in public health. Amina’s research interest is Maternal and Reproductive Health. She has participated in research in maternal health, such as perception and practice of child spacing among pregnant women attending antenatal care of Banadir hospital, as well as research on preference of mode of child delivery and associated factors among pregnant women in Mogadishu, Somalia.
