Biography

A Research Officer within the Population Dynamics, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights unit at the African Population and Health Research Center in Kenya where she coordinates various research projects. Beatrice holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Kenyatta University and a Master of Arts degree in Population Studies from the Population Studies and Research Institute, University of Nairobi, Kenya. Beatrice pursued a PhD in Public Health focusing on co-construction of masculinity and sexual development of very young male adolescents in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Her main research interests are in sexual and reproductive health in general and in particularly in gender and sexual and reproductive health issues of very young adolescents.
