Funmito Fehintola is a lecturer at the health promotion unit of the Department of Community health, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife , Nigeria. She is also a community health physician. She obtained her first degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Ibadan and had her post graduate training as a community medicine specialist at Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. She has twelve years’ experience in clinical care and practice. She is a researcher with a quest for scholarly enquiry on scarce areas of research output peculiar to her discipline. She has conducted studies in different sub -specialties of public health some of which are: epidemiology, adolescent health, reproductive health and health promotion. Some of these studies are published in reputable journals. She currently works as an honorary consultant at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching hospitals Complex. She currently working on effect of multilevel intervention on modifiable risk factors of non-communicable diseases among in-school adolescents.
