Jacob Mobolaji


Jacob is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Demography and Social Statistics at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He has a National Diploma in Statistics with two awards of excellence at The Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Nigeria. He also holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Demography and Social Statistics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the same discipline at the same institution. He has participated in local surveys, managed and analysed both quantitative and qualitative data. He also has advanced skills in statistical analysis with SPSS, Stata and Microsoft Excel; and intermediate skills in Eviews and MORTPAK, and beginner’s knowledge in ATLAS.ti and Nvivo. He is a member of the International Union of Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP), Union of African Population Studies (UAPS), Population Association of Nigeria (PAN) and Global Social Initiative on Aging (GSIA). He has published in national and international journals, and some currently under review.
