Biography
Marifa Muchemwa is currently a teaching assistant in the Department of Demography and Population Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. She assists the head of Department to teach Honours and Masters students Basic Demographic Methods course. She also assists in the teaching of Introduction to Demographic Methods too Masters students at the School of Public health at the same university. She has previously worked in the Department of Demography and Population studies as a research intern and a sociology tutor.
