An early career scientist with a broad background in public health and specific training and expertise in the field of environmental health. He is a Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, University of Ibadan. Mumuni holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo state, Nigeria; a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a doctorate degree in Environmental Health from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His research interests is in the area of Environmental Hygiene and sanitation with a focus on potable water management, sewage/wastewaters management, pest and vector control, healthy and safe workplaces, health-supportive cities and built environments, clean air and stable climate. He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Environmental Health and has published in local and international journals. Mumuni is a member of various international and local professional Organizations such as: Nigerian Network for Awareness and Action for Environmental Health (NINAAFEH), EHSAN Environmental Health Scientists Association, Nigeria.
