Biography
A Lecturer in the Department of Nursing, Makerere University. Scovia is also an Afya Bora Global Health Leadership fellow in pediatric and adolescent health at the Ministry of Health in Uganda. She previously worked as a maternal and adolescent heath consultant with two international Non-Government organizations in Africa; Jhpiego and Marie Stopes. She is a fellow of the Sub-Saharan Africa- Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research regional institute in Cape Town South Africa. Scovia is published and interested in reproductive, adolescent, maternal and child health, systems strengthening and nursing education research.
