Oyewale Morakinyo is a Public Health practitioner and a lecturer at the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, University of Ibadan. He holds a B. Sc. (Honours) Microbiology degree from the University of Ado-Ekiti and a Master’s degree in Public Health (Environmental health) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He’s a fellow of the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA), and an awardee of the Welcome Trust and the World Academy of Science (TWAS) travel grants. His expertise is in the area of Environmental epidemiology with focus on school health, housing and health, paediatric environmental exposure, and air quality. He teaches postgraduate courses in Environmental Health and has published in local and international peer-reviewed journals. He’s a member of professional bodies and societies in Public Health.
