Biography

Solange serves as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she teaches various courses in the Master of Public Health program. She assists Professors, Associate Professors, and Senior Lecturers in courses such as Public Health Priorities, Health Promotion and Behavior Change, and Research Ethics.  

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Production from the University of Rwanda, and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Mount Kenya University in Kigali, Rwanda. 

Solange has attended various trainings and workshops on research processes and scientific communication, enabling her to gain experience in data collection and transcription, data cleaning, data analysis, and scientific writing.   Her research interest is in sexual violence against children, with a focus on children born to teen mothers.
