Valens is a lecturer at the University of Rwanda School of Public Health since February 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Education in Educational Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Public Health with specialization in community health. Valens is also a PhD candidate at the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He is actively involved in both research and teaching activities at the University of Rwanda. Valens has strong experience in coaching masters’ program students to write their research projects and assisting them in data analysis and reports writing. Valens is well appreciated by both faculty and students for his innovative teaching. Since March 2016, Valens is a PhD CARTA fellow in Cohort 6.
