Topistar provides communications support to the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA) program by driving strategic communication initiatives, managing content creation, stakeholder engagement, media outreach, and digital platforms to enhance the program’s visibility and impact. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Daystar University, Kenya, and is pursuing a master’s in communication at St. Paul’s University. Before joining APHRC, she worked at Transform Nations, leading content development for various platforms, organizing and managing events, and developing and implementing communications strategies and plans. Topistar is driven by curiosity and a constant pursuit of innovation. Knowing that the right message can inspire action, influence decisions, or improve lives motivates her to continuously improve her skills. Outside work, Topistar is an adrenaline junkie, travel enthusiast, and enjoys authentic conversations.
