Biography

Alen is a public health specialist with extensive experience in maternal, newborn, and child health. He serves as a Program Coordinator with the Ifakara Health Institute, implementing the Neonatal Essential Solution Technology (NEST360) program across five African countries.

Alen holds a Masters in Monitoring and Evaluation and a Masters in Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy. He has led projects on maternal and child health, sexually transmitted infections, and social and behavior change, and has published over 10 articles on innovative care frameworks, including malaria prevention during pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and STIs. His doctoral research focuses on community-based care models in maternal and child health.
