Biography

Edna is a registered nurse-midwife, public health professional, and Lecturer at the School of Nursing, Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, where she teaches community nursing and public health courses, supervises undergraduate research, and contributes to curriculum development. She integrates clinical and public health expertise into her teaching, emphasizing evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and community-centered healthcare.

Edna holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Public Health from the University of Malawi. Her work focuses on strengthening nursing education, improving maternal and child health, and advancing research on infectious diseases and community health in resource-limited settings.
