A Health Systems Researcher with a PhD in Health Policy and Systems research. Henry’s academic background is in social sciences. His PhD research focused on the sustainability of HIV treatment programs in Uganda which are heavily donor funded. His broad research interests focus on utilizing implementation science research lens to understand facilitators and barriers to the uptake of public health interventions. Besides CARTA, he is a two-time fellow of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Between January and March 2017, Henry successfully completed a research fellowship at Michigan State University (MSU) with funding from the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
