Biography
Olamilekan is a fellow of the College of Veterinary Surgeons of Nigeria and an academic at the University of Ibadan with extensive experience in clinical veterinary medicine, infectious diseases, teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship. His work spans clinical veterinary practice, microbiology, and genomics, contributing to research across the One Health continuum.
He holds a Degree in Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Veterinary Science from the University of Ibadan. His doctoral research focuses on Dermatophilus congolensis, applying molecular and genomic approaches to better understand its transmission, pathogenicity, and implications for animal health.
