Biography
Tabitha is a Medical Laboratory Scientist and public health researcher with vast experience in laboratory medicine, infectious disease research, and field epidemiology. She works with the Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH), in collaboration with Moi University and Duke University, serving as a Laboratory Scientist, Research Assistant, and Training Coordinator within malaria research programs.
Tabitha holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics from Moi University and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton. Her research focuses on malaria prevention and control, including evaluating the effectiveness and durability of vector control interventions, and generating evidence to inform strategies and policies that reduce malaria transmission and improve public health outcomes in sub-Saharan Africa.
