Greetings from CARTA!

This is an urgent notice for those who have initiated the process of applying for the CPE grant.

The Science for Africa Foundation (SFA Foundation) announced the opening of the second round of the Community Engagement Grant, which will run until July 23, 2024. The grant, worth USD 600,000, is enabled by support from Wellcome. Only faculty and fellows affiliated with CARTA are eligible to apply with our support.

We have validated all those whose affiliations could be confirmed. Thus, we request that applicants whose applications have not yet been validated in the grants management system send evidence of their contract with one of the CARTA institutions to carta@aphrc.org and the CARTA Program Manager Marta Vicente-Crespo. Permanent or fixed-term contracts are suitable for this call.

This verification process by the Program Manager must be done by 5 PM EAT, July 18, 2024. We will not accept any requests for verification after that date.

Kindly note that we will not be able to support the application for anyone who cannot be validated by our focal persons and doesn’t submit a contract.
